"Imaging, Innovation and Impact" Industry Day Official Opening of Imaging Centre of Excellence (ICE)
Hosting clinical research facilities and bringing academics, industry partners and the NHS together to strenthen our position as a world leader in precision medicine.
We are excited to present a fresh and engaging programme for Industry Day 2017. It will showcase investment in a Clinical Innovation Zone and creative infrastructure to allow academics, industry partners and the NHS to work together within state of the art facilities to deliver a shared vision of a world leading precision medicine ecosystem.
A Government minister will officially open the ICE building and address delegates. ICE will host cutting edge imaging clinical research facilities which provide a nexus for academic, NHS and industrial expertise into brain imaging whilst further strengthening our position as a world leader in precision medicine. ICE hosts a 7 Tesla MRI scanner, the first of its kind fully integrated within a clinical site in the UK, underpinned by clinical expertise in stroke, cardiovascular disease and brain imaging.
Industry Day will present partnering opportunities, poster displays and networking over lunch. In the afternoon, two parallel workshops will deliver presentations and discussions on whole body imaging, and cells and tissue imaging.
Exhibition opportunities will be available during Imaging, Innovation and Impact Industry Day on 29th March 2017. For further information, please contact Jacqueline.Meiklejohn@glasgow.ac.uk
