Up to £30,000 for creative industries, food & drink and tourism projects.
The Interface Multiparty Competition is aimed at multiparty groups of businesses, within creative industries, food & drink and tourism sectors, working in collaboration with an academic partner from a Scottish university. The competition aims to encourage partnerships which could benefit an entire industry and result in new products, processes or services. Awards available range from £5,000-£10,000 each. The funding will be awarded to a project with the businesses matching the award in cash, in-kind or a combination of both. The award will be used to fund the time, facilities and costs of the academic partner(s). Applications should demonstrate not only innovation but how the project will add value and transformational impact to the sector as a whole. All topics relevant to the three industry sectors are welcome. For example, proposed projects could tackle issues such as sustainability, manufacturing processes and efficiency, inclusion, diet and nutrition or destination development.
The deadline for first stage applications is 5pm Tuesday 7 November 2017.
