Just for You - shaping the future of meals & snacks for the generations & lifestyles
This event is free to attend.
This event, hosted by Interface and Food and Drink Federation Scotland (FDF Scotland), has been designed to shape the future of meals and snacks for the generations and lifestyles.
Maintaining a balanced healthy diet is important, and at each stage in life, we may require different quantities of nutrients. This event aims to look at the different life stages and the types of products which are suitable and beneficial for the young and old; what macro and micronutrients are required and what other considerations should be well-thought-out in terms of packaging options and portion sizes.
Can manufacturers help people make healthier choices and can they inspire people to make better choices?
We’d like to invite manufacturers of any size looking to develop existing or create new products that could enhance their portfolio and reach new markets, so that together we can help all generations have a healthier future.
There will be a range of speakers including:
- Professor Alex Johnstone, University of Aberdeen
- Dr Emilie Combet, University of Glasgow
- Professor Emma Stevenson, University of Newcastle
- Dr Catriona Liddle, Queen Margaret University
- Case studies from businesses
We hope this event will inform and help businesses innovate and seize the opportunities for different markets.
Catering and refreshments will be provided.
