It just keeps getting better and better. The Scottish Resources Conference is now in its 17th year and will be covering a wide range of topical issues over the two days.
You’re invited to join us and over 400 policy makers, entrepreneurs, business leaders, academics, investors, and others.
The opening Ministerial Address by Roseanna Cunningham MSP, Cabinet Secretary for Environment, Climate Change and Land Reform will provide an overview of current issues and the legislative landscape.
The Scottish Resources Conference agenda will cover a number of inter-connected topics that aim to have a positive impact on the environment including; marine litter prevention, Deposit Return, the biodegradable landfill ban and Zero Waste Towns. And, looking to the future, market stability given the Chinese ban on plastic recyclates and the potential repercussions of Brexit.
The circular economy has evolved beyond academic theory and numerous organisations are receiving funding and support from Zero Waste Scotland, and others, as they grow more circular business models. Come and meet some leading organisations at our stand and hear their stories.
This dynamic, interactive conference is delivered by Zero Waste Scotland and partners CIWM and SEPA, and hosted by BBC Scotland’s Sally Magnusson.
Highlights are the drinks reception on the Wednesday evening and the Scottish Resources Awards on Thursday night.
