SRPe’s Conference is the annual opportunity for industry, academia and government to share the latest technological advances and research in Scotland and will be delivered as a fully interactive, virtual event on 27 January 2021.

Centred around SRPe’s Strategic Themes; Advanced Manufacturing; Robotics and Autonomous Systems; Engineering for Healthcare; Infrastructure & Environment, presentations will be broadcast as part of a live timetable launching at 10am and closing at 4pm, with the opportunity for live Q&A throughout.

In addition to our invited Keynote Speaker (TBC), there will be four Strategic Theme sessions with updates from our respective Chairs and each will host a guest speaker with live Q&A at the end of each session.

PhD Students from SRPe’s industry focused doctorate programmes; the National Manufacturing Institute Scotland Industry Doctorate Programme (NMIS-IDP) and the Scottish Research Partnership In Engineering Industry Doctorate Programme (SRPe-IDP); will showcase their projects focusing on objectives, outcomes to date, future plans and potential impacts.

All IDP projects have been invited to enter our mini-poster competition and all will be accessible on our website with the top three prize winners announced at the conference.
