Pulsetta won the Interface Food & Drink sponsored Profiting Through Research award at last night's Scotland Food & Drink Excellence Awards 2013 as well as picking up an award for Healthy Eating.

The Excellence Awards, run by Scotland Food & Drink in partnership with The Royal Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland, recognise Scotland's outstanding products, businesses, individuals and achievement across a wide range of tasted product and business categories.  In the course of their assessment of the entries, their independent panel of judges tasted 121 food and drink products and examined submissions from 100 businesses across Scotland.

There were a total of 17 awards recognising excellence in products and businesses across a diverse range of areas including skills, research and sustainability.
