Interface has been making it easier for thousands of businesses and organisations to tap into funding for innovation.
The organisation, which connects business to universities and research institutions to develop new products, services or processes, has simplified the application form and guidance for businesses applying for Standard Innovation Vouchers up to £5,000.
Frequently asked questions have been created to help answer questions from businesses and organisations thinking of applying to ensure that they know what to expect from the funding, what’s expected of them and to better understand the timescales involved – both of the application process and the project work with academic expertise.
The colour-coded application form has a step-by-step guide on what the funders, the Scottish Funding Council, and Interface, are looking for from the business and university, research institution or further education college when the application form is filled out.
A revamped flow chart showing the stages applications forms go through has be added to the online information available to make the process of applying for a Standard Innovation Voucher as clear and informative as possible.
Almost 1,000 Innovation Vouchers have been issued since the scheme was launched in 2009, amounting to just over £4.5m.
