To build on these strengths and meet the research challenges of the coming decades, the University has three cross-disciplinary Research Institutes working in areas of increasing importance such the management of long-term health conditions; promoting and protecting health and wellbeing; gender and public policy; violence, crime and justice; responsible leadership; sustainability in the built environment; interactive and network communications; and engineering and energy systems.

Through these key areas, GCU Business works with business and public sector clients who have technology or capacity challenges to offer access to specialist facilities and the expertise of our academics.

GCU’s services include bespoke education programmes, consultancy and research, access to KTP and other grant funding programmes, and unique licensing opportunities, helping clients through a tailored approach to the challenges they face.
