Over the past year, the College Capacity Building Programme has brought together colleges, entrepreneurs and sector partners to explore how we can strengthen entrepreneurial capability and culture across Scotland’s college sector.

One of the most rewarding outcomes of this work has been hearing directly from students about the impact it has had on their personal and professional development. Many have reported gaining invaluable life skills including increased confidence, stronger teamwork and communication skills, and a greater willingness to take initiative regardless of whether they plan to start their own business.

A key element of the programme was the contribution of five Entrepreneurs in Residence, who worked with colleges across Scotland to deliver initiatives focused on different aspects of entrepreneurial thinking and mindset development (read more about their work and impact here).

We’re proud to launch the programme’s legacy resources: a Practitioner Playbook and Toolkit, that capture the knowledge, insights and learning generated throughout the programme.

Developed to support the implementation of the Entrepreneurial Campus Blueprint, these resources provide practical guidance, tools, case studies and inspiration for college leaders, lecturers and practitioners looking to embed entrepreneurial mindsets, behaviours and opportunities across their institutions.

Our partners at College Development Network are hosting these resources through the Learn Online platform, helping ensure they remain accessible to colleges across Scotland.
